Due to the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, Delhi AIIMS has today cancelled the leave of all the doctors, nurses, officers and employees in the institute. The institute has issued a notice and informed everyone about this. The notice said that the leaves of all the employees in AIIMS Delhi are being cancelled. Earlier, Safdarjung Hospital has also cancelled the leaves of its employees, nurses and doctors.

The notice said, as per the order of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, from today, May 9, till further orders, no officer will be given any kind of leave including station leave except on medical grounds. Apart from this, previously approved leave, if any, has been cancelled and the officers who went on leave have been directed to return to their duty immediately.
Holidays in Safdarjung Hospital too
Safdarjung Hospital has issued an order and informed about the cancellation of leaves. The order was issued by Geetika Khanna, Principal of Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital. It was said that in view of the current situation, the leaves of all the faculty have been cancelled. Doctors have been asked to be ready to deal with any situation. Faculty (doctor) leaves have started in Safdarjung Hospital. Let us inform you that half of the hospital staff (doctors) remain on leave during this time.
Holidays can also be cancelled in these hospitals
In view of the current situation, the leaves of doctors can also be cancelled in hospitals related to many medical colleges including Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Lady Harding. Let us inform you that the summer holidays of doctors are starting from May 16 in AIIMS, RML.
Police leaves also cancelled
Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has also issued orders to Delhi Police and cancelled the leaves of all policemen.
