India shines in Paris Paralympics, gets 24th medal, Dharambir wins gold in club throw and Pranab wins silver, PM Modi congratulates Paris Paralympic medal winners, says this

The Prime Minister shared his happiness with the Paralympic players on India’s best performance so far. He told the players that their performance has inspired the youth of the country. It is their contribution that so many sports are gaining popularity today. Along with this, the PM said that the players should not worry about the color of their medals. They should celebrate their victory, because each one of them has made the country proud.

India won 22 medals
Indian athletes continue to dominate the Paris Paralympics. On Wednesday, archer Harvinder Singh created history by winning the gold medal in the final. Now India has 22 medals in the Paris Paralympics. These include four gold, eight silver and 10 bronze. With this, India has reached the 15th position in the medal table of the Paralympics. Harvinder won the gold medal by defeating Poland’s Lukas Ciszek 6-0 in the final.

After Harvinder’s victory, the PM also congratulated him by posting on X. He wrote a very special gold medal in para archery. Congratulations to Harvinder Singh for winning the gold medal in the men’s individual recurve open at the Paralympics 2024. Along with this, he wrote that Harvinder’s accuracy, focus and unwavering spirit are superb. India is very happy with his achievement.
