What is NOTAM?
Actually, NOTAM stands for “Notice To Airmen.” It is a notice that provides pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation personnel with critical information related to air travel. The primary purpose of NOTAM is to ensure safe and smooth air travel. It provides updates on temporary changes or hazards that may affect flight operations, such as closed runways, adverse weather conditions, or military exercises. The primary objective of NOTAM is to ensure flight safety by informing all concerned parties in real time.

Army Launches Operation Sindoor
The Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22nd. As part of this operation, the Army carried out attacks on nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on the night of May 6th and 7th. Since then, tensions have persisted between India and Pakistan. Pakistan launched numerous drone and missile attacks, but India’s air defense systems thwarted all of these attacks. Currently, a ceasefire has been established between India and Pakistan following a mutual agreement.

In “Operation Thar Shakti 2025,” the Indian Army conducted a war exercise with Bhairav Commandos, Infantry, Artillery, and Army Air Defense units at Longewala, Jaisalmer.
The Bhairav Commandos, an elite unit of the Indian Army, displayed their bravery and skill in “Operation Thar Shakti 2025” at the Longewala border near the India-Pakistan border in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan. Recalling this heroic act, the Defense Minister said, “Operation Sindoor will go down in history not only as a military operation, but also as a symbol of the nation’s courage and restraint. The action taken by our Army against terrorists was consistent with both policy precision and human dignity.” The operation is not over yet. Pakistan is facing a double blow. India’s military might has likely increased the difficulties of Pakistan Army General Munir. Meanwhile, Afghan fighters have also given Pakistan sleepless nights. The Afghan Taliban do not recognize the Durand Line as a border and claim Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) as their territory. Afghan fighters are challenging the Pakistani Army, saying, “If you have drunk your mother’s milk, come this way sometime, we will teach you a lesson in war.” Former Pakistani military officers also say that Afghanistan has worsened Munir’s situation. Now, Pakistan faces a well on one side and a ditch on the other.
