Indore: 22 transgenders drank phenyl together in Nandlalpura, all transgenders were taken to MY Hospital with the help of police and local people, know the reason

There was a stir in the Nandlalpura area of ​​Indore’s Pandharpur police station area when approximately 22 transgender people attempted suicide by drinking phenyl in a closed room. They even recorded and released a video of the incident. Upon receiving information about the incident, police officers arrived at the scene, opened the door, and rushed all the transgender people to MY Hospital for immediate treatment.

What is the whole matter?
Actually, following a dispute between transgender people, one group took the step of collectively drinking phenyl. There has been a long-standing dispute between two transgender groups in Nandlalpura. One group is led by Sapna Guru, and the other by Seema and Payal Guru. Disputes between the two groups often occur. On Tuesday, Mahamandaleshwar Lakshmi Tripathi of the Kinnar Akhara also visited Indore and met with officials regarding the dispute. An SIT has already been formed to investigate this dispute, which has been ongoing for several days, but the investigation has not been completed.

Blockade at Nandlalpura intersection
On Wednesday night, a group of transgender people came down from their camp and began creating a ruckus. They then drank phenyl all together. After drinking phenyl, transgender people belonging to one group also blocked the Nandlalpura intersection. Vehicles were blocked during the protest. The transgender people continued to create a ruckus for a long time. After this, the police persuaded them and got the blockade lifted.

What did the doctors say?
Doctors at MY Hospital stated that all the patients are now out of danger and their treatment is ongoing. Timely medical assistance averted a major tragedy. Police are investigating the matter and questioning all parties involved. Currently, everyone is reported to be in stable condition.
