Indore Bus Accident: Speeding wreaks havoc in Indore; due to the driver’s negligence, a bus full of passengers falls into a ditch; three people lost their lives in the accident, more than 38 passengers injured.

A horrific road accident occurred in the Simrol police station area of ​​Indore, Madhya Pradesh. At 9:40 pm, a passenger bus traveling from Omkareshwar to Ujjain via Indore lost control at Bheru Ghat and fell into a 50-foot-deep ravine. Around 50 passengers were on board at the time of the accident. Three people, including two women, died on the spot, while more than 38 passengers were seriously injured.

Following a rescue operation, all the injured were transported by ambulance to Indore’s MY Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver attempted to overtake another vehicle at the Bheru Ghat turn, when the bus lost control and plunged straight into the ravine.

Upon receiving information about the accident, Simrol police station police, administrative officials, and ambulances arrived at the scene. Police began efforts to pull the bus out of the ravine with the help of a crane. According to reports, the bus was carrying passengers returning from Omkareshwar, including those from Delhi and other cities. Many of them sustained serious injuries.

Three people died in the accident

Three people died in the accident at Bherughat in Mhow. The bodies of Padma Bai (45), a resident of Tilak Nagar, Indore, and Rahul (25), a resident of Deoria, UP, were brought to Mhow Civil Hospital. The body of Anita (40), wife of Ashok Rao, a resident of New Gori Nagar, Indore, was brought to MY Hospital. Following the accident, police and administration teams arrived at the scene and rescued several passengers safely by breaking the bus windows and using other routes.

Accident due to driver’s negligence

Simrol police have launched an investigation. Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence and loss of control while overtaking. Police have stated that the bus owner and driver will be questioned to uncover the full truth of the accident.

What did eyewitnesses say?

Meanwhile, passengers from Delhi on the bus stated that they had come to visit Omkareshwar. They were supposed to board the bus from Omkareshwar for Indore. However, when the bus reached Bheru Ghat, the driver lost control while overtaking, leading to the accident. Four people have been seriously injured in the accident. Passenger Anu Jindal said that she had an evening train from Indore and had boarded the bus for that purpose. Her husband, a young daughter, and another daughter were also seriously injured in the accident.
