Masked miscreants raided the house of Congress state president Jeetu Patwari in Bijalpur area of Indore late Friday night. The thieves were active in the area for about two and a half hours. Apart from Jeetu Patwari’s house, they also targeted the house of Nagar Panchayat Officer, Electricity Company Engineer and a businessman.
In fact, thieves broke into the house of Congress state president Jeetu Patwari in Indore. Four to five unidentified miscreants have attempted theft. This incident took place at Bijalpur residence located in Rajendra Nagar police station area. At present, the police has started searching for the thieves on the basis of CCTV. Let us tell you that along with the Congress state president, the thieves targeted two more houses near his house. The accused who came to carry out the incident were captured in CCTV.
Theft in Jeetu Patwari’s house
The incident took place at around 2:15 in the night. The miscreants arrived with a tommy and cutter and entered inside by cutting the grill of Patwari’s house. They entered the Patwari’s office located in the premises and searched the drawers and lockers. However, they did not get any valuables. Even the phone and ATM card kept in the office were not taken.
Other houses were also burglarized
When the miscreants did not find any valuables here, they entered the nearby houses. These include the house of CMO of Punasa Nagar Panchayat Rajkumar Thakur, power company engineer Narendra Dubey and businessman Sanket Arya. The miscreants stayed in the houses for half an hour, but suddenly fled when Sanket Arya woke up and challenged them.
Masked miscreants captured in CCTV footage
According to Jeetu Patwari’s PA Amit Sharma, five miscreants are visible in the CCTV footage. They had submachine guns and tools in their hands. Police say that the crime may be committed by the Bagh-Tanda gang. Forensic team and sniffer dogs were also called on the spot for investigation.
