Maximum loss in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The highest damage and casualties from heavy rains were reported in the country’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where 36 people lost their lives and 53 others were injured due to torrential rains, followed by 25 people in eastern Punjab province and Eight are reported injured. A total of 15 people died and 10 others were injured in southwestern Balochistan province, while 11 people were killed and 11 others were injured due to heavy rains in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the NDMA said.
