Abdulsalam said that Israel wanted to increase the suffering of the people with these attacks. He said that this attack was also carried out to put pressure on Yemen to stop supporting Gaza. Abdulsalam said that these attacks will make the people of Yemen and its armed forces stronger to support Gaza.

Many deadly attacks will be carried out in response

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen said in a post on ‘X’, “Many deadly attacks will be carried out in response to this.” Al-Masirah TV, a media group controlled by Houthi rebels in Yemen, reported that Israel targeted oil and diesel storage facilities and local power companies at the port, causing several deaths and many were seriously burnt. It said that the attack caused a fire at the port and disrupted power supply. Health officials in Yemen said that several people were killed and others were injured in the Israeli attack, but they did not give detailed information about it.
