Police started investigation
Police said in a statement, “Initial reports suggest that this appears to be a terrorist attack. Explosions have been reported in several buses at different locations in Bat Yam.” The incident took place when Hamas returned the bodies of four Israeli hostages from Gaza. The statement said that a large number of police forces have been deployed to search for the suspects.
Explosives found in buses
Police spokesman Ashi Aharoni said explosives were also found on two other buses. Officials said the bombs had timing devices. Police spokesman Haim Sargrof said that an investigation is underway to determine whether a single person planted explosives in various buses or several criminals were involved. The mayor of Bat Yam said that no one was injured in these blasts.
