Tel Aviv: The Israeli Defense Forces announced on Sunday that they had killed Bashar Thabet, the commander of the development and project department at Hamas’ weapons production headquarters. Thabet was reportedly responsible for research and development in Hamas’ weapons manufacturing equipment. The IDF said that they have detected and destroyed terrorist infrastructure, terrorists and tunnels. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) was also involved in this attack, which has attacked about 75 terrorist targets, including the terrorists’ military complexes and other terrorist structures.
IDF gave information
The IDF said in a post on X, “Bashar Thabet, who was killed, was a commander of the development and project department at Hamas’ weapons production headquarters. He was responsible for research and development in Hamas’ weapons manufacturing mechanism, which worked to restore and increase their weapons stockpile.” The post further said, “IDF troops detected and destroyed terrorist infrastructure, terrorists and tunnels. The IAF targeted terrorist groups that were about to attack IDF soldiers and struck approximately 75 terrorist targets, including terrorist military compounds and additional terrorist infrastructure.”
115 Palestinians killed
The Israeli army killed at least 115 Palestinians, including 92 aid seekers and two civil defense aid workers, Al Jazeera reported. Famine in Gaza has reached its peak and children are dying from Israeli-imposed starvation. According to Al Jazeera, the Gaza Health Ministry said 18 people died of hunger in the last 24-hour reporting period. According to Al Jazeera, on the occupied West Bank, Palestinians say Israeli settlers’ attacks on water supplies are making it difficult to live in their villages.
