Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a big announcement on Tuesday. Netanyahu announced a ceasefire with Hezbollah. Along with this, the Israeli PM told under what conditions he is making this deal and under what circumstances Israel can attack Lebanon again.
Netanyahu said, he is ready to make a deal with Lebanon, but if Hezbollah violates in any way, he will give a strong response to it. Netanyahu said that he will present the ceasefire agreement in front of his entire cabinet in the evening.
How long will the ceasefire be?
Netanyahu said, how long this ceasefire will last, how long it will be, it depends on what happens in Lebanon. If Hezbollah violates the ceasefire agreement, we will attack. If Hezbollah carries out terrorist activity near the border, we will attack. Netanyahu further said, if Hezbollah launches rockets, we will attack.

Why is the ceasefire happening?
PM Netanyahu explained why there should be a ceasefire at this time. There are three reasons behind this.
To give rest to the army and to replenish the destroyed weapons
The third and most important reason for Netanyahu is Hamas. Netanyahu said, Iran and Hezbollah were helping Hamas in the war, now after the ceasefire Hamas will be left alone.
“Hezbollah has been pushed back decades”
Netanyahu said about Hezbollah, Hezbollah which was supporting Hamas and Iran used to support Hezbollah, has now become much weaker than before. Netanyahu said, we have pushed Hezbollah back decades. We have eliminated its main leaders. Along with this, we have also destroyed their missiles and rockets. We targeted strategic objectives across Lebanon, shaking Beirut to its core.
What did he say about Gaza?
Netanyahu said the war will continue until all its goals are achieved. Until all the people of North Israel are brought back to the country safely. Referring to Gaza, the Israeli PM said, we destroyed Hamas battalions and we killed more than 20 thousand terrorists. We killed Sinwar and we eliminated senior Hamas officials. Netanyahu also said, we have brought back our 154 prisoners to the country. We still have 101 prisoners in Gaza, whom we will bring back safely.
How many people died?
Hezbollah and Israel have been at war for the past one year. Lebanon says that at least 3,768 people have been killed in this war, most of whom have been killed in the last two months. On the other hand, Israel says that so far 82 soldiers and 47 civilians have been killed in Hezbollah’s attack. On the other hand, the entire Gaza is devastated in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, so far 44 thousand people have been killed in this war, while many have been injured.
