A woman in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has pleaded for justice to the police by levelling serious allegations against Royal Crown Spa Center operator and alleged BJP leader advocate Ashutosh Pandey. The woman alleges that she was sexually exploited several times in the name of giving her a job and attempts were made to force her into prostitution. When she protested, she was threatened and fired from the job. During the hearing at the Superintendent of Police office, the victim has pleaded for justice by submitting videos and call recordings of the incident with her in the complaint.
The victim, a resident of Kareli in Narsinghpur district, said that after the death of her husband about a year ago, she came to Jabalpur with her two children to make a living and was looking for a job. During this time, she met Ashutosh Pandey, operator of Royal Crown Spa Center located at Ekta Chowk in Vijay Nagar area. Ashutosh told that he holds a high position in the BJP and is also a lawyer. Ashutosh gave her the job of manager at a monthly salary of Rs 8 thousand. The woman alleges that a few days after giving her the job, Ashutosh called her to a cabin and first asked her to give him a massage and then forced her to have physical relations.
The victim said that this did not stop here, but Ashutosh kept forcing her to have forced relations with him again and again. According to the woman, Ashutosh also presented her in front of his friends coming from Delhi and other cities and behaves in the same way with other girls. The woman says that girls brought from North East and Delhi to the spa center are also forced into the business in the same way. These girls are sent to big people. The victim says that she had to do the job out of compulsion but what happened to her should not happen to anyone. Ashutosh ruined her life.
She gathered courage and reached the police station
When the woman protested against this, she was fired from the job and started receiving threats. After this, she gathered courage and reached the public hearing in Jabalpur SP office and lodged a complaint giving information about the entire incident. Additional SP Suryakant Sharma said that the matter has been taken seriously and Vijaynagar police station has been instructed to register an FIR and start investigation. The woman told that Ashutosh used to influence people by calling himself BJP’s social media in-charge, lawyer and officer of Brahmin Mahasabha. To show his influence, he also kept writing the party’s post in his social media profile.
The accused is not on any post in BJP
However, on this whole matter, BJP District Metropolitan President Ratnesh Sonkar has clarified that Ashutosh Pandey is not on any post in the BJP organization nor has he been entrusted with any responsibility by the organization. He said that Ashutosh calling himself a BJP officer on social media is an attempt to defame the organization. The party will take strict action on this and legal steps will also be taken against him. At present, the police have registered a case on the woman’s complaint and started investigation. The role of other people associated with the spa center is also being investigated. This matter is gaining momentum in Jabalpur and has created a stir in administrative and political circles.
