The Madhya Pradesh High Court has granted conditional bail to Faizal alias Faizan, the accused of raising slogans in support of Pakistan. The High Court said in its order that the petitioner has been granted bail, but he will have to go to his nearest police station on the first and last Tuesday of every month and register his presence there. Along with this, he will have to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai 21 times while saluting the national flag of India, the tricolor.
Faisal alias Faizan, a resident of Raisen district, had raised slogans in favor of Pakistan. An FIR was registered against Faizal at Misrod police station in Bhopal on 17 May 2024 in this matter. After investigation, a charge sheet was also presented in the trial court. Now the Jabalpur High Court has granted conditional bail on a bond of Rs 50,000.
Will have to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai 21 times
The single bench of Justice DK Paliwal of Jabalpur High Court said in its order that the petitioner will register his presence at the police station between 10 am to 12 noon on the first and last Tuesday of the month. Apart from this, he will say Bharat Mata Ki Jai 21 times while saluting the national flag of India.
Opposition to bail of accused Faizan
Justice DK Paliwal has directed the Bhopal Police Commissioner to see that the accused follows the instructions given every week. It will also be videographed. While opposing the bail petition, government lawyer CK Mishra said that 14 criminal cases are already registered against the accused. He was shouting slogans against India while staying in it.

The prosecution also said that if the accused is not happy in this country, then he can go and live in the country in whose support he raised slogans. Let us tell you that Faizan had filed a petition for bail in Jabalpur High Court after his bail was rejected by the lower court, as a result of which the court granted him bail with conditions. A video clip was also presented in this case, in which it was clear that the accused was shouting slogans in support of Pakistan.
