Jaipur: More than 5.25 lakh candidates have applied for recruitment to 10 thousand posts of constable in Rajasthan Police. Officials gave this information on Friday. They said that the written examination will be held on 13 and 14 September and a total of 5,24,740 candidates will appear in it. Officials said that tight security arrangements have been made for the recruitment examination.

Posts of 3 women battalions also included

ADG Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Bipin Kumar Pandey said that the advertised posts include constable (general), driver, band, police telecommunication and the recently formed three women battalions Amrita Devi, Kalibai and Padmini Devi.

Total 3303 posts for women candidates
The state government has made a provision of 33 percent reservation for women in the police department, according to which a total of 3303 posts have been included for women candidates in the advertised posts. Pandey said that written examination is being conducted on Saturday for the post of Police Telecom Constable and Driver and on September 14 for the post of Constable General and Driver of Constable Police, Intelligence, RAC, MBC.

How many candidates will give the exam in which shift?

On Saturday, 1,05,846 candidates will appear in 280 examination centers of nine districts in one shift. On September 14, 2,09,987 candidates will appear in the first shift from 10 am to 12 noon at 582 examination centers of 21 districts and 2,08,907 candidates will appear in the second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm at 580 examination centers of 21 districts.

All foolproof arrangements for the exam, CCTV monitoring
Additional Director General (ATS) V.K. Singh said that all foolproof arrangements have been made for the written exam. He said that a lot of arrangements have been made by the police department for the transparency and purity of the exam. Singh said that all the examination centres have been covered with CCTV and a control room has been set up at the police headquarters level, in which IT trained officers and employees have been deployed for live telecast and monitoring. The officer said that jammers have been installed at every examination centre to neutralise all types of electronic devices.
