Jalgaon police arrested a serial killer who had murdered two married women last month, further investigation is underway.

Police in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra have arrested a serial killer who had brutally murdered two married women in the last one month and thrown their bodies in the forest. The accused has been identified as Anil Sadashiv, who was caught by the locals while trying to kill the third woman.

According to the police, Anil Sadashiv’s method of crime was very horrifying. He used to first trap married women in his net. He used to get close to them by talking sweetly and then take them with him to the forest. There he used to rob the women, rape them and then kill them by crushing them with stones. In the last one month, he had made two women his victims in this way.

Preparations were made to kill the third woman

In the third incident also, the accused trapped a woman and took her to the forest. When he was trying to kill the woman, the woman somehow escaped from his clutches and managed to run away. Hearing her screams, the people gathered around and caught the accused Anil Sadashiv on the spot. After this, he was handed over to the police.

Accused in police custody

The police have arrested Anil Sadashiv and are now questioning him. The police team is conducting a search operation in the hilly areas and forests where he had thrown the bodies of the victims. The police is also investigating whether the accused has killed more than two women. This arrest is expected to reduce the atmosphere of fear among women in the Jalgaon area to some extent. The police have appealed to the citizens to be vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity.
