This is not the first incident of infiltration across the international border in Jammu and Kashmir. Such incidents keep happening here from time to time. In recent months, infiltration attempts were also made near the LoC and international border in Poonch and Kupwara, in which many intruders were killed. Actually, this border separates India and Pakistan in Jammu and is considered very sensitive from the security point of view.
Firing in Krishna Ghati sector
India’s neighbouring country Pakistan is not desisting from its nefarious activities. Pakistan targeted the forward posts of the Indian Army in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch late on Wednesday night. Firing was done with light weapons there. This firing continued for 20 minutes, but there was no damage of any kind in the firing.
This is not the first time that Pakistan has targeted the Krishna Ghati sector. The Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch has witnessed ceasefire violations many times before. Such acts have been continuously done by Pakistan, to which the Indian Army gives a strong reply every time and Pakistan has to face losses.
