A major operation has been going on against terrorists in Kathua district of Jammu region for the last 4 days. On Thursday, an encounter took place between security forces and terrorists near Jakhole village in Ghati Juthana area of Rajbagh. Three terrorists have been eliminated in this. During the search operation, 4 magazines of M-4 carbine, 2 grenades, a bulletproof jacket, sleeping bag, and polythene bags filled with material for making IED were found near the encounter site in Hiranagar.

Senior police officers are also present at the spot. The security forces are preparing to eliminate this entire group of terrorists. Therefore, every inch of the area is being searched. Special lighting arrangements have also been made to ensure that the terrorists do not succeed in escaping by taking advantage of the darkness.
