Japan stands with India in the Pahalgam case, a big meeting of the defense ministers of both countries

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the brutal killing of 26 people, tensions between India and Pakistan are at their peak. The Indian government has made it clear that it will take strict action against the terrorists and their masters. Meanwhile, a big meeting has taken place between India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Japan’s Defense Minister Nakatani. The Pahalgam terrorist attack was also discussed in this meeting.

What issues were discussed?
According to the information, a meeting was held on Monday between the Defence Ministers of India and Japan regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack, increasing tension between India and Pakistan and China’s increasing military activities in the South China Sea. Both sides discussed regional and international security situation and further increasing bilateral defence cooperation. This is the second meeting of the Defence Ministers of the two countries in the last 6 months.

Rajnath thanked the Japanese government
At the India-Japan Defence Ministers’ meeting, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said – “I would like to thank the Japanese government for showing strong solidarity with India in the wake of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. On this occasion, I appreciate your immense contribution in further deepening India-Japan defence relations.”
