Jharkhand: A CRPF sub-inspector martyred and a jawan seriously injured in an IED bomb blast during a search operation against Naxalites in Saranda forest of West Singhbhum district

In this sequence, today on Saturday, during the search operation being conducted against the Naxalites in the Saranda forest under West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, an IED bomb planted by the Naxalites suddenly exploded. A CRPF jawan has been martyred due to which. At the same time, a jawan has been seriously injured.

The injured jawans were airlifted to Ranchi hospital for better treatment, where CRPF 193 battalion sub-inspector Sunil Kumar Mandal died during treatment. During the search operation being conducted against the Naxalites, this incident of IED bomb blast took place in Marangponga area of ​​​​Chhotanagra police station area of ​​​​West Singhbhum. The security forces were conducting search operations in the area. Then there was a strong explosion in the IED bomb laid under the ground due to coming in contact with the jawans.

One CRPF jawan dies

CRPF 193 Battalion Sub Inspector Sunil Kumar Mandal and Head Constable Parth Pritam were seriously injured in this explosion. Both the injured jawans were airlifted to Ranchi by army helicopter for better treatment, where during treatment in the hospital, injured CRPF jawan SI Sunil Kumar was declared dead by the doctor. At the same time, the treatment of the other injured jawan Parth Pritam Day is going on in critical condition.

Information was received about the hiding of Naxalite commanders

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed grief over the death of jawan Sunil Kumar Mandal.
