He locked his 65-year-old mother Sanju Devi alone in the house and left for Prayagraj 3 days in advance to take a dip in the Maha Kumbh with his wife and children.
Police took the woman out of the house
The son had kept dry ration for his mother to eat, which got finished before they arrived. The hungry mother was calling out to be fed and taken out. The neighbours heard the old woman’s cry and immediately informed the police about the matter. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot in a hurry and broke the lock and took the woman out of the house. As soon as the news of the mother being locked in the room came to light, the married daughter of the old woman also reached the spot, where first she fed the hungry mother and then took her with her.
Locked in the room and went to Maha Kumbh
