Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is currently in his native village Nemra under Gola block of Ramgarh district instead of the capital Ranchi, where he has been performing the duties of a son along with Rajdharma for the last 11 days. CM Hemant’s father and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Dishom Guru Shibu Soren died on 4 August during treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.
Since the death of his father, his middle son Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been performing the rituals related to his last rites after lighting the funeral pyre with him as per the traditional customs. On August 15, while performing the ritual of Dashkarma in the presence of his family and villagers, Chief Minister Hemant Soren got his head shaved, sacrificing his long hair and long beard, along with this, preparations for the Sanskar Bhoj to be held on August 16 are going on in full swing.
Shraddha Karma with traditional customs
With the help of Shibu Soren’s family, relatives and villagers who came from far and wide to his native village Nemra, all the last rites are being performed in accordance with traditional customs and local beliefs. Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself is keeping a special eye on the preparations by staying in Nemra village. Instructions have been given to the officials to ensure full traffic arrangements, drinking water, food, medical assistance, security and accommodation facilities for the people coming to Nemra. A cleanliness drive has also been launched by the administration in the village and surrounding areas, so that the people coming for the Shraddha Karma do not face any inconvenience.
For the convenience of the people, more than 300 e-rickshaws will be arranged from the parking to inside the village, so that everyone can reach the venue from the parking lot with ease. 3 large parking spaces have been constructed for vehicles, and bio-toilets have been arranged behind each parking space. For the devotees coming on foot, shady sheds, resting places and separate pandals have also been set up on the roads to protect them from the sun and rain.
3 big pandals for food, thousands of people will sit together
At the same time, 3 big pandals have been made for food arrangements, where there will be a system for thousands of people to sit and eat together. In this, traditional prasad will also be served along with local dishes. A large number of volunteers and a team of cooks will be deployed for cleanliness and smooth service.
At the same time, a police control room has been set up in Dhumkudia for the security of the people and traffic control. 10 IPS officers, 60 DSPs, 65 inspectors and more than 2500 police personnel will be deployed in the security system. The district administration will be in full alert mode regarding the arrangements. Teams of police, administration and volunteers will be active 24 hours a day for traffic management, emergency services and crowd control.
Special exhibition will also be held
On the occasion of Shraddha Karma (Sanskar Bhoj), a special exhibition and memory gallery is also being prepared to display the life struggle of the former CM, his political contribution, his role in the upliftment of the tribal society and his invaluable example of public service. Rare photographs related to Guruji’s life, historical documents and achievements of his tenure will be displayed here.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also attend
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth, UP Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister Sanjeev Kumar Gond will also come to attend Shibu Soren’s Sanskar Bhoj, along with this, Chief Ministers or their representatives of many other states including Bihar, Punjab, Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra are expected to arrive. Along with this, there will be presence of Cabinet Ministers of Jharkhand Government, a large number of MLAs and senior officials. A helipad has also been built for VVIP guests to reach Nemra village.
