It was told on the Jharkhand CM’s e-account that Rs 1415.44 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of 56 lakh 61 thousand 791 mothers and sisters. The program to send the increased amount to the accounts of the beneficiaries of Mainiya Samman Yojana was to be held in the month of December, but it was postponed due to the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Like Mainiya Samman Yojana, Ladli Bahin Yojana runs in Madhya Pradesh and Ladli Bahin Yojana in Maharashtra. Women in Madhya Pradesh get Rs 1250 every month and Rs 1500 in Maharashtra. In Delhi too, Aam Aadmi Party has promised a similar scheme, in which women will be given Rs 1000 initially and Rs 2100 every month if the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed after the elections.
