Jharkhand: Jharkhand government announced to start ‘Maiyaan Samman Yojana’ for women

Assembly elections are proposed in Jharkhand. The Jharkhand government has announced to start the Mainiya Samman Yojana for women. Under this scheme, women aged 18-50 years are being given Rs 1000 every month. The BJP has attacked the Hemant Soren government’s scheme, calling it an election stunt, but during a program organized in Jamshedpur on Friday, JMM leader and CM Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren claimed that this scheme will continue without any interruption.

In a program organized on the occasion of Mainiya Samman Yojana Yatra in Bodam of East Singhbhum district, Kalpana Soren said that in view of the upcoming assembly elections, wrong information is being given about the future of this scheme. People are being given wrong information.

Women will continue to get Rs 1000
Kalpana Soren said that for the first time after the formation of Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has started the Mainiya Samman Yojana. Under this scheme, priority is being given to the welfare of women aged 18-50 years. Under this scheme, women will be given Rs 1,000 per month.

Attacking the BJP, she said that the BJP is spreading rumors that this scheme will be closed after the elections. She said that a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed against the Mainiya Samman Yojana and it has been filed under the personal interest of the BJP.

Allegations of neglect of tribals on BJP

Kalpana Soren, while addressing the women, said that this scheme will continue. No account will be closed. If it is closed, then it will be the account of BJP in Jharkhand. She called upon the women to support the coalition government led by Hemant Soren during the Navratri festival. The Nari Shakti of the state will strengthen the opposition in the elections and will give a befitting reply to the BJP.

She accused the BJP of working with a spirit of revenge against the backward classes. She said that the reservation rates are declining. The rights of the marginalized communities in Jharkhand are being neglected by the BJP.

He said Soren’s coalition government had passed the 27 per cent reservation bill for backward classes in the assembly, but the BJP government at the Centre has not taken any action yet.
