Jharkhand Maiya Samman Yojana: Lakhs of women are eligible for the ‘Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana’ started by the Hemant Soren government to empower women in Jharkhand. However, now the BJP is claiming that the government is going to cut this scheme. This claim has been made by Koderma MLA Neera Yadav.
MLA Neera Yadav said, “It remains to be seen how much the amount that the sisters were getting before the elections will be cut. Now many new criteria will have to be fulfilled. The green card that was made earlier is still lying aside. Now there is talk of giving rice and pulses. Earlier announcements were put on hold. It is a big deal to implement the announcements you make. Show work on the ground, just making announcements is not a big deal.”
So far in the scheme, 12 thousand rupees in 12 installments
