Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on Tuesday took cognizance of the fake calls being received by women regarding the transfer of funds under the ‘Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana’. The Chief Minister has appealed to women not to share OTP or their bank account details with anyone if they receive a call related to the scheme.
Hemant Soren said that the government is not making any kind of call regarding this scheme. He urged everyone to be cautious and not share their bank account details if they receive such calls. Jharkhand CM said that information is coming in the context of Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana that calls are being received on the mobile numbers of many beneficiaries regarding the scheme, which is completely fake.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also appealed to everyone to be cautious of such fraud through a post on his X account. He has written in his post that it is very important to avoid the rapidly increasing online fraud. Many people are cheating by messaging or calling. He said that messages can also come through SMS, WhatsApp, mail or telegram, so all of you are requested to be careful.
The CM said that Jharkhand Police is alert about such cases. Take immediate action on receiving any kind of information and identify the fake caller. Hemant Soren said that the government is not making any call related to the scheme. Therefore, the sisters and daughters registered under the scheme are requested that when they receive a call related to the scheme, they should never share OTP or information related to their bank account with the caller.
Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana
Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana (JMMSY) is a major beneficiary scheme of the state government. Under this scheme, every woman of the state from 21 years to 50 years will get the benefit of this scheme. Under this scheme, every woman of the state will get an honorarium of 12 thousand every year. That is, one thousand rupees will be deposited directly in the account of the beneficiaries every month.
