Jodhpur: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s statement has been recorded in the court. Bishnoi is currently lodged in Sabarmati Jail. Therefore, these statements have been recorded from Sabarmati Jail itself. Bishnoi’s statement was recorded in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate No. 7 Harshit Hada. Bishnoi answered all the questions of the court and called the entire episode false.
Lawrence made serious allegations against the police
Lawrence Bishnoi has accused the police of trapping him by taking fake action. Bishnoi said, ‘I was lodged in jail. In such a situation, threatening on mobile is not possible.’ Let us tell you that this case is of extortion from travel businessman Manish Jain. An attempt was made to fire in Manish Jain’s office but the firing did not take place due to the bullet getting stuck in the revolver.
What is the whole matter?
This whole case is of the year 2017. Actually, on 4 March 2017, two youths came to the office of travel businessman Manish Jain and tried to fire but the firing did not take place because the bullet got stuck in the revolver. After this, Manish Jain lodged a report in the police station and he told that he received an internet call and he was told that he is Lawrence Bishnoi and if he does not pay the extortion money, he will be killed.
The hearing in this case took place in the court today. During this, Lawrence appeared in the court through VC from Sabarmati Jail and while answering all the questions of the court, he said that he has been in jail for the last 11 years. In such a situation, it is not possible to threaten anyone over the phone from the jail. He said that the police have filed a false case against him to put pressure on him and scare him. He has said that all the allegations against him are false.
What did Lawrence’s lawyer Sanjay Bishnoi say?
Lawrence Bishnoi’s lawyer Sanjay Bishnoi said, ‘Some 2 people had entered the office of Jain Travels. It was a case of threatening with a gun and extortion. His (Lawrence) accused statement was to be recorded in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate No. 7 Harshit Hada. The accused statement was recorded from VC Sabarmati Jail. Every question was answered by the accused. In which he was asked whether he had threatened Manish Jain through mobile, he denied it and told that he has been in judicial custody i.e. jail for the last 11 years. He was in jail before the day of the incident and was in jail after that too. It was impossible for him to threaten by phone.’
Sanjay Bishnoi told, ‘Lawrence put these things in front of the court and recorded his accused statement. Lawrence told that this fake action has been taken by the police and when he refused to be involved in this fake action, his brother was also illegally included in this case and pressure was put on him.’
