Jodhpur: Jodhpur Custom Department took action and caught two gold smuggler passengers traveling in Vivek Express at Jodhpur Railway Station.

Gold Smuggling: The price of gold is continuously increasing in the country and the world. Along with this, smugglers involved in gold smuggling have also become very active. Smugglers are inventing new ways to deceive the security agencies. Taking action, Customs Department (Customs) Jodhpur has arrested two passengers in Vivek Express at Jodhpur Railway Station.

6.2 kg gold has been recovered from both the passengers. Both the passengers were cleverly hiding the gold in their bodies, but they could not deceive the customs department and the customs department caught them. The price of gold is said to be Rs 4.71 crore.

New method of gold smuggling
According to the sources of the Customs Department, the information received revealed that the Customs Department had received information about the presence of smuggled gold in the Vivek Express train going from Jaipur to Bandra to Jammu Tawi. On this, the Customs officials of Jodhpur searched the train. And on the basis of evening, investigation was done by taking both the passengers in inheritance. When there was suspicion that both the passengers had gold hidden in their anus. Passengers deboarded the train at Jodhpur railway station. There was 6.2 kg of gold in capsules in the rectum of both the smugglers.

6.2 kg gold seized
The customs department took out the gold capsules from the paste extract. 6.2 kg gold came out of smugglers’ anus. Which has been confiscated by the Customs Department officials. The Customs Department suspects that this gold was smuggled from abroad and brought to Mumbai Airport by hiding it in the anus. When the customs could not catch them, both the passengers boarded the train for Rajasthan, but the customs caught both of them in Jodhpur and confiscated the gold. Both are being interrogated.
