Kanhaiya Kumar: Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar is doing a padayatra in Bihar with the slogan ‘Stop migration, give jobs’. He reached Bangaon in Saharsa late on Tuesday night, 25 March. He addressed a street meeting in the courtyard of the Durga temple in Bangaon. Local people and Congress workers welcomed Kanhaiya Kumar by making him wear a traditional turban, sheet and garland. When some youths of the village came to know about this, the next day (Wednesday) they washed not only the speech venue but also the temple courtyard with Ganga water.

It is an election year, so this picture that has come out from Saharsa can start a political uproar in the state. Under the leadership of Nagar Panchayat Bangaon Ward Councilor Representative Amit Chaudhary, youths named Vishnu, Makhan, Anand, Suraj, Saroj and Badal did this due to the controversial remarks made by Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar against the country. These youths said that Kanhaiya Kumar has been accused of treason. He keeps giving controversial statements on national and religious issues.

What did Kanhaiya Kumar say in his speech?

When Kanhaiya Kumar reached Bangaon on Tuesday, he told the people here that after reaching Saharsa from Champaran, it seems that the ‘Stop migration, give jobs’ yatra has been successful to some extent in becoming the voice of the people. Here he lashed out at the government on many issues. He said that 90 percent of the Kosi area in the entire country cultivates Makhana. Makhana has got recognition at the world level, but the farmers who grow it are not getting the right price. No one is worried about this. The situation of Mithila painting artists is also similar.
