Kannauj: A double-decker bus lost control and overturned on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. There were 90 people on the bus at the time of the accident. Out of this, 21 passengers are said to be injured. The bus was going from Bihar to Punjab with the passengers. All the injured are said to be residents of different districts of Bihar. At present, the injured passengers are being treated. At the same time, the police team has also reached the spot. After the incident, the police team has removed the bus from the expressway and the way has been cleared. At present, traffic on the expressway is continuing smoothly.
The driver fell asleep
It is being told that the bus was going from Katihar district of Bihar to Bathinda in Punjab with laborers. The private double-decker bus carrying about 90 laborers from Bihar left late on Sunday night. Late in the evening, the bus came from Lucknow to Agra Expressway. At around 6 pm, the bus was passing near Behta Khas village of Talgram police station area of Kannauj, when the bus driver fell asleep. The speed of the bus increased due to the driver sleeping and the speeding bus collided with the divider and overturned.

CO City Kamlesh Kumar gave information about the case. He told that the Talgram police station received information that a double-decker bus which was going from Bihar to Punjab collided with the divider and overturned. A total of 21 people were injured in this accident. Out of these, 10 seriously injured people were brought to Medical College Tirwa, where all are being treated. There is no news of any casualty. The other injured were treated at CHC Talgram. At present, the bus has been removed from the main road. Necessary legal action will be taken in the matter.
