Kanpur: A pharmacy student of a medical college in the district committed suicide by hanging himself in the hostel.

Kanpur is becoming a suicide city for students. Suicide cases are coming to light one after the other. Just a few days ago, a student of IIT Kanpur committed suicide. After that, a week ago, a student of Rama University hanged himself to death. Now a student studying to be a pharmacist at Kanpur Medical College hanged himself to death. The police is investigating the entire matter.

Prashant Shukla, a resident of Bidhuna in Auraiya, was studying to be a pharmacist at Kanpur Medical College. For some days, Prashant was not even talking to his friends. Prashant was staying in the hostel and studying to be a pharmacist. On Wednesday, all the students of the hostel went to attend classes, but Prashant did not go. When his friends asked him why he was not attending classes, he did not answer. After this, all his friends went to attend their classes.

In the evening, when all the students returned to the hostel, they saw that Prashant’s room was locked from inside. At first, the students knocked on the door for a long time, but when Prashant did not open the door, the students informed the warden about it. The warden informed the police about the whole matter and when the police reached the hostel and broke the door of the room, Prashant’s body was hanging from a noose.

Committed suicide by hanging in the hostel room

Prashant’s family members have been informed about the incident and his family members are coming to Kanpur. This is not the first case when a student has committed suicide in Kanpur. Just a week ago, a student of Rama University committed suicide by hanging himself. Two days before this, an IIT student also committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room. Now after the suicide of the medical college student, people have started calling Kanpur a suicide city. Currently, Prashant’s body has been sent for post-mortem and the police is investigating the entire matter.
