Kanpur News: On the day of Eid, the clash between SP workers and police at Armapur Eidgah in Kanpur took a big turn. After which SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai and current Kanpur Lok Sabha candidate Alok Mishra surrounded the police and created ruckus with their supporters. On which the police has registered a case against 200 unknown supporters including Amitabh and Alok Mishra in Panki police station. The video of this clash between police and SP workers had gone viral.
A minor skirmish took a major turn during Eid. After which the video of SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai openly challenging the police officers in the police station went viral. In which SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai was seen speaking harshly to the police officers during Ram Navami and along with him, the present alliance candidate from Lok Sabha and Congress leader Alok Mishra was also present. Slogans were also raised in the police station regarding the working style of the police in freeing their comrade and taking wrong action.
Case registered against 200 people
Police have registered a case in Panki police station under relevant sections against Kanpur SP MLA Amitabh Bajpai, Congress Lok Sabha candidate Alok Mishra and 200 unidentified people present in the ruckus with them. ADCP Vijendra Dubey said that everyone has been accused of clashing with the police and obstructing government work.
On the basis of the video, it has been considered as evidence and legal action has been taken against all those who were seen creating nuisance in the police station. Due to the uproar in the police station, the work being done in other police stations was also disrupted, the complainants who had come to the police station to get the work done also returned without getting the work done.
