A car was seen instead of a train at Tekal railway station in Kolar, Karnataka. A man drove the car on the tracks at the railway station. Fortunately, when this car entered the platform, it was not the time for any train to arrive, due to which a major accident was averted. The car driver was drunk, due to which he could not maintain balance and the car went straight on the railway track.
This incident is being told of Saturday, where a man drove a car into the railway station in a drunken state. First he reached the railway station with a Maruti Swift Dzire car. After this, he drove the car down the stairs right in front of the railway ticket counter and directly entered the railway platform. The driver had lost balance on the car. However, the car stopped on the railway track. Seeing this, a crowd of people gathered around.
A major incident could have happened
The name of the car driver is Rakesh, who came to the railway station with the car. He had drunk too much alcohol. He was not even in his senses. That is why he could not even control the car. Many trains come and go at Tekal railway station. In such a situation, if a train had been passing through the track at the time of the accident, a major incident could have occurred. However, no train came and the accident was averted.
Driver in police custody
After this, the railway officials called a JCB late at night and got the car removed from the railway track. The front part of the car got damaged in the incident, although the car driver was not injured. The car owner Rakesh has been taken into custody by the railway police and he is being questioned.
