A shocking incident has come to light in Chikmagalur district, Karnataka. A Muslim man tried to stay at a monastery with a Hindu woman by changing his name. His true identity was revealed. A fake Aadhaar card was also found with the accused, which he had obtained using a Hindu name. According to reports, the incident occurred in Sringeri town, Chikmagalur.
Abdul Samad, a resident of Balehonnur in NR Pura taluk, changed his name to Ramesh and obtained a room at the Sringeri monastery lodge, claiming the woman as his wife. However, their secret was revealed, and the man’s real name and his Muslim identity were revealed. Police then detained both of them.
Woman and man in a relationship for 5 years
The woman is reported to be around 38 years old. Abdul Samad and the woman first became friends. Their friendship gradually deepened, and their relationship blossomed into love. They have been in a relationship for the past 4-5 years. The woman already knew the truth about the young man’s Muslim identity and was in a relationship with him. When Abdul and the woman arrived to book a room at the Sringeri Math lodge, the staff became suspicious of their identities. Upon investigation, Abdul’s true identity was revealed.
Police detained both of them.
Following this, the staff immediately informed the police that the Muslim young man had obtained a room at the Math using a fake Aadhaar card. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and detained both of them. A case has been registered at the Sringeri police station. Police are currently questioning both of them and investigating how Abdul obtained the fake Aadhaar card and where he used it.
