In Kalaburagi, Karnataka, caste became such a big issue during the marriage of two lovers that the girl, exhausted, committed suicide. A girl lived in a rented house in Yalaling Colony of Kalburagi. The girl had gone to Delhi to prepare for UPAC. Pushpa fell in love with a young man from Delhi. The young man lived in Gandhinagar, Delhi.
After making vows and promises of love to each other for about four days, when the turn of marriage came, two young men told about the girl in their house. Due to the caste of both of them being different, the young man’s family refused to marry him. Unable to tolerate the distance in love, the girl committed suicide and ended her life. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the girl’s body for post-mortem.
The young man said that he will not be able to marry
When girlfriend Pushpa asked boyfriend Kiran when will they both get married? Then Kiran told everything about the house. Kiran said that due to the caste of both of them being different, Kiran’s family has refused to marry her, hence Kiran will not be able to marry her.
Pushpa forces Kiran to somehow convince her family, but due to the refusal of her family, he will not be able to get married. Pushpa was hurt by this. She used to be very upset due to being away from Kiran, so one day she decided to commit suicide.
Pushpa used to live alone in a rented house. Being alone, Pushpa got enough time to commit suicide and she took her own life. After getting the information about Pushpa’s death, the family members are crying badly. They cannot believe that the daughter who was preparing for one of the most difficult examinations in the country took her own life.
