Karnataka: On ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans raised in the Assembly, Congress leader and Karnataka Minister KN Rajanna said that Pakistan supporters should be shot, supported the bulldozer action of UP government.

Congress leader and Karnataka minister KN Rajanna has given a big statement. He has said that those raising slogans in support of Pakistan should be shot. This statement of KN Rajanna has once again created a political uproar in Karnataka. In fact, recently anti-national slogans were raised outside the Karnataka Assembly. According to media reports, after the victory of Congress leader Naseer Hussain in the Rajya Sabha elections, his supporters allegedly raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. Such a claim was made.

When Congress leader Rajanna was asked about that incident and it was said that it had tarnished the image of Congress, he replied, ‘What happened? The image of Congress is fine. However, it has improved to a great extent. If anyone has raised slogans in support of Pakistan then he should be shot. There is nothing wrong in this.’ During this, the Congress leader supported the bulldozer action of the Yogi government of UP. He said that law and order has been brought under control by demolishing the houses of the accused with bulldozers.

What is the whole matter?
Recently, in the Rajya Sabha elections held on four seats in Karnataka, Congress had won three seats. In celebration of the victory of Congress leader Nasir Hussain, his supporters and Congress workers raised slogans in support of Pakistan. It has been claimed that during this period, slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ were allegedly raised outside the Karnataka Assembly. Actually, the whole matter is of 27th February. The video was sent for forensic investigation. The investigation did not reveal any tampering with the video. After this, three people were arrested.

BJP demanded action
There was a massive uproar in the state regarding this incident and BJP demanded action. BJP said that this incident is an insult to Kannada people and every Indian. BJP also demanded that the name of Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain be included in the FIR registered in connection with the case. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that BJP will request Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar not to allow him to take oath as a member of the House till the investigation is completed.
