Kolkata: A student of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was found dead in the ESI hospital quarters in Kamarhati in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district. Ivy Prasad’s mother, a doctor by profession, called her daughter but did not receive any response. This frightened her. When she went to her daughter’s room, she found her dead.

The police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigating the matter. The post-mortem has been done and the report is awaited. The deceased student’s father works in a bank and lives in Mumbai. On August 9 last year, the body of a post-graduate trainee doctor was found in the seminar room of RG Kar Hospital.
