Kullu: 5 members of a family missing and one body recovered in Sharmani village of Ani development block due to landslide in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh

In Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, there has been a huge devastation due to the landslide once again. A sudden landslide occurred in Sharmani village of Gram Panchayat Ghatu of Ani Vikas Nirmand at around 2.00 am on Tuesday (September 9). Gram Panchayat head Bhoga Ram has confirmed this.

So far, according to the information, 5 members of the same family are being reported missing in this accident, while a body has been recovered from the spot. There is an atmosphere of panic in the village and people are completely scared.

Appeal to live in safe places
Information has been given to the local administration and relief rescue work is going on fast. The situation remains even more serious due to heavy rains in the area. The administration has appealed to the people to take refuge in safe places and be cautious.

Many people buried in debris
The accident happened late at night, when all were sleeping in the houses. After the landslide, many people were buried in the rubble, which have been rescued and taken out. The injured have been sent to the nearest Nirmand Hospital for treatment. At the same time, five people are still missing. The search operation is going on in search of them. Teams of Police Administration, Revenue Department, Public Works Department and Health Department have reached the spot.

There is a possibility of rain in many parts of Himachal
The Meteorological Department has expected light rain in Kangra, Shimla, Chamba on Tuesday (September 9). There is a possibility of light cloudy since morning. At the same time, the Meteorological Department also told that the weather will remain the same for the next four-five days.

Chamba-Bhramaur nh restored
The Chamba-Bhrama National Highway affected among natural disasters has been restored to small vehicles since Monday (September 8). NH-24 was closed in August due to heavy rains and landslides.

On Monday, many vehicles filled with vegetables, ration and other items were brought from Chamba to Bharmour. In two days, this route will also start for big trains.
