Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana: Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Thursday (January 23) gave a big update on the promises of giving Rs 2100 every month to women under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana in Haryana. Saini indicated that this scheme can be implemented after the budget.
He said that the government is committed to fulfilling whatever promise the BJP has made in the election manifesto. The government has made a complete plan to implement the Lado Lakshmi Yojana.
Haryana Cabinet meeting
After the cabinet meeting in Chandigarh, the CM said, “It has been three months since the current government came to power. We have made a complete plan for it (the scheme). The budget session is coming and we will make provision for its budget. BJP fulfills the promises it makes. We have fulfilled the promise we made earlier also. ”
The cabinet approved the amendment in Haryana Divyang Pension Rules, 2016. Under which now 10 more categories of Divyangjans will be given the benefit of monthly pension in the state, 32 thousand Divyangjans will be benefited by this.
BJP had promised in the assembly elections
Before the Haryana elections in October 2024, BJP had promised to give monthly financial assistance of Rs 2100 to all women. BJP has returned to power in the state for the third consecutive time.
Such a scheme is applicable in many states
The government is running a scheme of giving monthly money to women in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Before the Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government also announced to implement a scheme to give money to women every month.
AAP says that after winning the election, every woman will be given Rs 2100. BJP and Congress have also promised to start such a scheme for women in Delhi.
