Lok Sabha Election 2024: American political scientist Ian Bremmer has made a big claim amidst the Lok Sabha elections. He said that BJP will get 305 seats. There is a possibility of 10 seats being plus and minus in this.

Ian Bremmer, a famous American political expert and founder of risk and research consulting firm Eurasia Group, said in an interview to NDTV that Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister for the third time. He said, “Eurasia Group’s research has revealed that BJP is expected to win 295 to 315 seats.”

At the same time, after five phases of Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, including other leaders, have also claimed to get majority. On the other hand, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who is part of the opposition alliance ‘India’, and other leaders are saying that people have rejected BJP.

PM Modi, while addressing an election rally in Dwarka, Delhi on Wednesday (March 22, 2024), claimed that the five phases of voting have ensured a strong BJP-NDA government.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said at an election rally in Kanthi Lok Sabha constituency of West Bengal, “Do you want to know what is the position of the NDA so far? I can tell you that after the first five phases, the NDA led by Narendra Modi has already crossed the 310 mark. ”

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, while talking to NDTV recently, said that he cannot tell how many seats the alliance ‘India’ will get, but the BJP is going to be out of power.

Which are the main parties in the Lok Sabha elections?

In this Lok Sabha election, on one side is the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. On the other hand, there is an opposition alliance ‘India’ comprising of many parties including Congress, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Aam Aadmi Party, TMC, DMK and Left. Apart from this, many parties including former CM Mayawati’s BSP and KCR’s BRS are not part of any of the two alliances.
