Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 6 people injured in firing in Khargram of Murshidabad district of West Bengal, all are TMC workers.

Before the Lok Sabha elections, an incident of firing has come to light in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. 6 people have been injured in the firing that took place in Khargram, Murshidabad. There was firing between two parties due to land dispute. The injured include Injil Shaikh, Sirajul Shaikh, Sameerul Shaikh and Muntaz Shaikh, Jasmine Bibi and Razmeen Khatoon. All those who were injured in the firing incident are Trinamool Congress workers.

According to local sources, Sarul Sheikh was having a dispute with Trinamool leader Ahad Sheikh regarding land for a long time. As soon as the road work started on Monday, the controversy came to the fore again. In the afternoon, Sarul Shaikh’s family had a fight with Ahad. Firing started between the two groups and many were injured.

Panic in the area after the firing
The injured were admitted to Khargram Block Rural Hospital and later to Murshidabad Medical College Hospital in Baharampur. Where he is undergoing treatment. The condition of two of them remains critical. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the firing incident. Police have started investigating this matter.

There was commotion after Namaz and bullets were fired
The problem between the two groups is regarding the dam of the river. It is alleged that a road has been built by purchasing some part of the dam. An injured person told that he had gone to the mosque to offer namaz that day. After leaving there he was beaten up. He claimed that Sarul Sheikh and his men suddenly started firing on them. That’s why some people are shot. At the same time, another injured person said that the commotion started after Namaz. The police is investigating the entire matter. No one has been arrested in this case yet.
