In fact, while addressing an election meeting in Bangaon, North 24 Parganas of West Bengal, CM Mamata said on the issue of CAA-NRC that the names of 19 lakh Hindu Bengalis in Assam have been removed from the list. In such a situation, if they ask me for the certificate of my parents, I don’t even know their birthday, from where will I get the certificate.

CM Mamata attacks BJP on CAA-NRC
Taking aim at BJP, the CM said that if they ask you to bring a certificate from 50 years ago, then you should first ask BJP candidates to apply for CAA. Mamta questioned why you are not applying, because you will become a foreigner. In such a situation, if they will not apply, then why would you apply?

 

‘CAA-NRC is a conspiracy’
While addressing the public, CM Mamata fiercely attacked BJP. She called CAA-NRC a conspiracy in the country. Along with this, he said that another conspiracy has been hatched and that is Uniform Civil Code i.e. UCC, in which minorities, SC-ST, OBC and tribals will have no existence. Besides, Hindus will also have no existence. CM said that only one nation-one political party leader will remain.

‘So…the Constitution will turn into history and geography’
Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mamata Banerjee said that if PM Narendra Modi comes to power again, there will be no elections in India. And by completely abolishing the Constitution of the country, its history and geography will be changed.
