Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Challenging Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya seems to be costly for Apna Dal (S) supremo Anupriya Patel, National General Secretary Raghavendra Pratap Singh has also resigned from the party alleging neglect of upper castes.

In the midst of the Lok Sabha elections, challenging Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya seems to be costly for Apna Dal (S) supremo Anupriya Patel. Meanwhile, Apna Dal (S) national general secretary Raghavendra Pratap Singh has also resigned from the party alleging neglect of upper castes.

In fact, the national general secretary, angry at MP Pakodi Kol’s daughter-in-law Rinki Kol being given a ticket from Robertsganj seat, has resigned from the primary membership of the party.

Controversy over Sonbhadra MP’s statement

Dr. Raghavendra Singh alleges that Sonbhadra MP Pakodi Kol had made objectionable remarks on the Kshatriya and Brahmin community. There is a lot of resentment in the upper caste society due to his remarks. It is believed that there is resentment among the Brahmin and Kshatriya workers of the party over giving a ticket again to MP Pakodi’s family.

Neglect of upper castes in Apna Dal

After resigning from Apna Dal (S), Raghavendra Pratap Singh said that any party should be for the entire society. No one is born with a pre-determined caste. We are Rajputs and we have worked for the entire society. He alleged that upper castes are being neglected in Apna Dal (S).

National President did not pay attention

Raghavendra said that we met the National President several times regarding the displeasure of the upper castes and put forward our point. But he did not consider it necessary to pay attention to it. When there is no one to listen to our problems in the party, then there is no justification for staying in it.
