Whereas, Vinay Chakraborty says that he had gone to deposit money online. But the Election Commission does not have a system to take money online. That’s why he deposited only chillars.

According to a news agency, Vinay Chakraborty, who is studying LLB from Jabalpur, has bought nomination papers for the post of MP from Jabalpur Lok Sabha. When Vinay Chakraborty came with his friends to buy nomination papers, the officials doing the nomination work told him that for this he would have to deposit Rs 25,000. They will have to deposit this amount in cash. Vinay Chakraborty asked the officials for online payment option. But officials said that there is no such system here.

25000 thousand rupees were deposited
Vinay Chakraborty did not understand anything at that time. He called his friends. Some small shopkeepers who were supporting him told him not to worry. We arrange the money. Then within a short time they reached there with a lot of chillers. Vinay Chakraborty again deposited Rs 25 thousand but in the form of Chillar. All the coins were of 10 rupees. It took the election officer 3 hours to count them. Vinay Chakraborty says that ‘he had no intention of troubling anyone, but whatever cash was available with him at that time, he deposited it in this manner.’
