Lucknow: North Central Railway has decided to stop 32 trains going to Kanpur-Lucknow. These trains will be able to run only after March 30. Actually, the railway has taken this decision to complete the track work on the Ganga bridge. Apart from this, the route of many trains has also been diverted.
What is the reason?
North Railway Lucknow Division has to do repair work on the Ganga bridge built between Lucknow and Kanpur. This is why the railway has taken this big decision. Due to this block of the railway, passengers may have to face difficulties after Holi. 74 trains will be affected by the decision taken by the railway to block. Jhansi, Mumbai, Pune, Gorakhpur, Nilanchal, Shatabdi are prominent among them.

Statement of Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari has come out in this matter. He has told that a mega traffic block has been taken. Due to this, the railway section will remain closed for 9 hours daily. The bridge is being repaired to help speed up the trains. He informed that 51813/14 Jhansi Lucknow, 64203/04 Lucknow Kanpur Central MEMU will remain cancelled from 20 March to 1 May.
