An FIR was lodged against Merchant Navy’s second officer Anurag Singh on the complaint of the girl’s father. After this, the accused son-in-law Anurag Singh was arrested by Lucknow Police.

Wife Madhu Singh’s body was found hanging from the noose a day before. Madhu’s body was found hanging on August 5. There was a dispute between the husband and wife on the night of the incident. Madhu had informed her elder sister by calling her.

DCP South gave information about Anurag’s arrest

DCP South Nipun Agarwal said, “Apart from dowry harassment, the accused husband used to make immoral allegations on the victim. There used to be a fight between the husband and wife every day. The day the information about the suicide came to light, there was a lot of quarrel between the two on that day too. Both were married 6 months ago in Lucknow.”

Wife got her husband killed in Telangana

Another case related to husband and wife came to light from Karimnagar in Telangana. Here a wife saw ideas on YouTube to kill her husband and then got him killed. The wife signaled her lover to kill her husband and the lover carried out the murder.

Actually the wife got pesticide put in her husband’s ear through her lover, which led to the husband’s death. However, when the police suspected something during the interrogation, they became strict, after which the wife revealed the whole secret. The police is taking further action in this case.
