Satna: A shocking case has come to light from Satna in Madhya Pradesh. Here a 24-year-old girl committed suicide by shooting herself in the house of a former MLA. The surprising thing is that the girl’s marriage was fixed.
What is the whole matter?
A young woman working at the house of senior Congress leader and former MLA Nilanshu Chaturvedi in Satna, Madhya Pradesh committed suicide. The pistol with which the girl shot herself is licensed in the name of the former MLA’s wife.
Statement of Superintendent of Police came out
Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta said, “The deceased was identified as Suman Nishad (24) and she used to work with her mother in Chaturvedi’s house in Chitrakoot police station area for the last several years. The girl’s marriage was fixed and initial investigation has revealed the fact that she used to talk to someone on the phone, for which her mother used to scold her.” He said, “As soon as the information about the girl committing suicide was received, senior police officers and the forensic department team investigated the spot and collected evidence. Chitrakoot police have registered a case and are investigating every aspect related to the incident.”
Know about former MLA Nilanshu Chaturvedi
Nilanshu Chaturvedi is a former MLA from Chitrakoot assembly seat in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh and a leader of the Indian National Congress. Nilanshu Chaturvedi belongs to the Choubey royal family of Chitrakoot. Nilanshu Chaturvedi has been an MLA twice from Chitrakoot assembly seat (constituency number 61, Satna). He was elected for the first time in 2018 and contested again in 2023 as a Congress candidate.
Nilanshu Chaturvedi is considered a leader with a clean image but the case of this girl committing suicide at his residence is in the news. The police is investigating the matter.
