Madhya Pradesh: A budget of Rs 4.21 lakh crore was presented in the Assembly today. The budget also proposes to open 39 new industries and 11 Ayurvedic colleges.

Bhopal: Mohan government’s budget of Rs 4 lakh 21 thousand 32 crores was presented in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. State Finance Minister Jagdish Devda presented this budget. No new tax has been imposed in the budget, but no concession has been given in the old tax either. The special thing is that no provision has been made to increase the amount of Rs 1250 under the ambitious Ladli Behna Yojana of Madhya Pradesh at present, but it has definitely been said to link it with the Atal Pension Scheme.

11 new Ayurvedic colleges will be opened

In the budget, it has been said to provide employment to 3 lakh people in 39 new industrial areas for the youth of Madhya Pradesh struggling with unemployment. Apart from this, 11 new Ayurvedic colleges will be opened. Deep-Tech Research and Discovery Campus will be established in Ujjain in collaboration with IIT Indore. Also, the dearness allowance of the seventh pay scale will be revised from April 1, 2025. Apart from this, Dinosaur Fossil National Park will start in Dhar and Fossil National Park in Dindori.

  • Provision of Rs 18,669 crore for about 1.27 crore Ladli Bahana Yojana beneficiaries in MP.
  • Ladli Bahanas will be linked to PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Suraksha Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.
  • 2.20 lakh women of Baiga, Bharia and Saharia tribes will be given a nutrition grant of Rs 1500 per month.
  • Integrated infrastructure scheme for construction of a building of Anganwadi and Sub-Health Center.
  • Budget of Rs 350 crore for construction of Anganwadi centers building.
  • Provision of Rs 3,729 crore for Anganwadi services.
  • Provision of Rs 26,797 crore for Shramik Seva Maternity Assistance, bicycles to girl students, Chief Minister Scooty Scheme.

What is special for students, youth

  • Establishment of Deep-Tech Research and Discovery Campus in Ujjain in collaboration with IIT Indore.
  • Start of IIT level MP Institute of Technology in every division in the next 5 years.
  • Works worth Rs 565 crore for infrastructure development in 8 universities and 27 colleges under PM Usha Project.
  • Target to establish Digital University and National Defense University Campus.
  • Lokmata Ahilya Bai Skill Development Program for skill development.
  • 9 international hockey turfs, 5 synthetic athletics tracks and 56 sports stadiums will be started.
  • CM Yuva Shakti Yojana to start a fully equipped stadium in all assembly constituencies, provision of Rs 25 crore for this.
  • 22 new hostels will be built.
  • 23 thousand primary schools, 6800 secondary schools, 1100 high schools and 900 higher secondary schools will be run for tribal students.

What is special for farmers?

  • Provision of Rs 850 crore as incentive amount for farmers on paddy.
  • Provision of Rs 5 thousand 220 crore in CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana.
  • Provision of special incentive amount in Chief Minister Krishak Unnati Yojana.
  • Provision of Rs 40 crore to Agricultural University Jabalpur and Agricultural University Gwalior for research in farming.
  • Provision of Rs 2 thousand crore for crop insurance scheme.
  • Provision of Rs 447 crore in PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana for energy pumps to farmers.
  • Provision of Rs 100 crore in National Horticulture Mission.
  • Incentive amount of Rs 5 per liter to milk producing farmers. Provision of Rs 50 crore.
  • Provision of Rs 19 thousand 208 crore for electricity subsidy to farmers.
  • Provision of Rs 183 crore in National Mission on Edible Oil and Oilseed.
  • Amount of feed for cows in cowshed increased from Rs 20 per day to Rs 40 per day.
  • Provision of Rs 505 crore in Gau Samvardhan and Pashu Samvardhan Yojana.

What is special for poor and backward classes

  • Special package will be given to those living below poverty line.
  • Provision of Rs 25 crore for Scheduled Caste Atrocities Prevention Act.
  • Provision of Rs 1086 crore for backward class and minority welfare. Dharti Aaba Janjati Utkarsh Abhiyan will be implemented, which will benefit 94 lakh families.
