The court in Guna, Madhya Pradesh has sentenced a woman to life imprisonment. The woman was accused of killing her step son. The case is of the year 2022. When the woman killed her son, she also drank poison herself. But the woman’s life was saved. The police later arrested her. After several hearings, the court has now convicted the woman and sentenced her to life imprisonment. Along with this, a fine has also been imposed on her.
The incident was of Fatehgarh area. Sukhram Bhil, who lived in Ambaram Chakk, got married for the second time after his first wife left him in the year 2020. But he had two children from his first marriage. A boy and a girl. Sukhram had married the aunt of his first wife. One day Sukhram went to attend a wedding with his daughter. Sukhram’s parents were also not at home at that time.
When he returned on 28 December 2022, he saw that Sukhram’s son Abhishek was lying dead on the cot in the house. Abhishek’s stepmother was also found lying unconscious nearby. The data cable of a white coloured mobile charger was found lying near the child’s body. During investigation, small pieces of skin from the child’s neck were found on the cable. It did not take long for the police to understand that it was a case of murder. Savita was taken to the hospital.
Savita hated children
The police were suspicious of Savita. When they interrogated her strictly, Savita confessed her crime. It was revealed that Savita did not like her stepchildren. She hated her son Abhishek a lot. On the night of the incident, only Abhishek and his stepmother Savita Bai were at home. At around 8 in the morning, Naresh Bhil called Abhishek to wake him up, but he did not open the door. The latch of the door was locked from inside. When the family broke the door and entered inside, they found Abhishek’s body and Savita lying unconscious.
The case went on in the court for 19 months
This case went on in the court for 19 months. Additional Sessions Judge Suresh Suryavanshi has now convicted Savita and sentenced her to life imprisonment. Along with this, a fine has also been imposed on the woman.
