Fraudsters have cheated a doctor couple in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The fraudsters told the doctor and his wife that their son is possessed by a ghost. He can die anytime. On hearing this, the doctor couple got scared and at the behest of the fraudsters, they robbed 51 tola gold and 31 lakh rupees. However, later, when they realized that they had been cheated, they complained to the police. After this, Bhopal Police has registered a case and arrested one fraudster.
The search for the other fraudster is being conducted. The police have also seized 33.3 tola gold from them so far. At the same time, raids have been intensified to recover the rest of the goods. The case is from Ashoka Garden police station area of Bhopal. According to the police, Meera Pippal, who lives in 110 Old Ashoka Garden, has lodged a complaint. She told that her husband Dr. Hariram Pippal is a doctor and runs his own hospital. According to Meera, her younger son recently met with an accident three times.
Cheated by deceit
In such a situation, their acquaintance Abdul Sohail advised them to consult a Tantrik. He told that he himself practices Tantra Mantra and he can solve their child’s problem. After this, Sohail called his friend Faraz and then under the pretext of Tantrik rituals, made the doctor couple put the gold and cash kept in the house in a bag and escaped from there after seeing the opportunity. Meera Pippal, on realizing that she had been cheated, lodged a complaint at Ashoka Garden police station.
After this, the police came into action, blocked the road and caught the accused by chasing them with the help of clues. The main accused was identified as 35-year-old Abdul Sohail, a resident of Sonia Gandhi Colony of Aishbagh police station area. He told the police during interrogation that he had transferred 50 tola gold and about 31 lakh rupees to his account from the doctor couple in small amounts.
Police looking for the second fraudster
He told that they have spent the money but the gold is pledged in Muthoot Finance Bank. After this, the police took the accused to the bank and seized the pledged gold. Along with this, the police have also recovered 2 gold chains from the accused’s house. Now the police is looking for Sohail’s partner Faraz.
