Gwalior: A case of filmy firing on a groom has come to light in the district. Here the groom was sitting on a carriage, when two unknown miscreants riding a bike shot at him. Seeing the bullet, the groom bent down and got down from the carriage and somehow saved his life. The whole incident took place at a distance of 100 meters from Janakganj police station. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. In the video, the miscreants riding a bike can be seen firing at the groom with a pistol. The police is investigating the matter on the basis of CCTV footage.
The miscreants came on a bike
Actually, Sachin Pandey, a resident of Lohagarh Dholi Bua Ka Pul of Janakganj police station area, was getting married on November 22. Sachin was taking his baraat sitting in a buggy. When the baraat reached near Ladies Park Nag Devta temple at night, two masked miscreants came there on a motorcycle without a number plate and fired at Sachin Pandey sitting in the buggy. Sachin saw the miscreants firing in time. Sachin bent down as soon as the bullet was fired, due to which he was not shot. After this, Sachin got down from the carriage and saved his life. As soon as the information was received, the people involved in the wedding procession chased the miscreants, but the miscreants fled from the spot.
Incident captured in CCTV
The video of the incident has been captured in the CCTV installed at the wedding venue located at Hare Shiv Garden. It can be seen in the CCTV that the miscreants come on a bike and go ahead while firing. 9 days after the incident, Sachin’s father Satish Pandey reached Janakganj police station with CCTV footage. He alleged that the bride’s side is from Dabra and he has suspected Ankit Sharma, who lives there, of firing. The bride’s father and his family had a dispute with Ankit over something. At present, the police have registered a case against the unknown miscreants who fired on the basis of the complaint of the groom’s father and CCTV footage and have started searching for them.
